The Right Idea at the Right Time

 

After a devastating spinal injury which included 3 back surgeries Ken realized that his career path was going to change.  Ken spent a year dealing with the challenges of getting tranasportation to theraphy while talking to other patients who had the same transportation issues.   It occured to Ken that his and others transportation challenges sounded like a business opportunity. Ken decided to investigate the industry  to identify areas where services were lacking for non-emergency transportation services.  After doing the research, Ken discovered that there was indeed a niche to fill a need for relieable services at that time he launched Transit Van Services, Non-Emergency Transportation (NET).

 

Seeing a need is one thing, but creating a successful way to fulfill that need is another.  Considering the run-of-the-mill cab companies, Ken asked himself a valuable question: How many companies call to confirm the appointment ahead of time, then conduct a courtesy call to see how the passenger’s service was once they arrived at their destination? The answer: Absolutely none.  To this day, Ken makes sure TVS clients feel special by following up with a courtesy call to see how their ride was, if they were comfortable, and what, if anything, could be done to make the trip a better experience. This personalized approach makes Transit Van Shuttle Services stand out as far more than just a “shuttle service”.

 

 

Although Ken launched Transit Van Shuttle Services over a decade ago as a non-emergency medical transport he has since expanded it to include everything from airport shuttle services to executive and corporate needs.  TVS’s goals remain the same, to provide timely, reliable and professional service, and exceed our cutomer expectations .  Each and every client who hires Transit Van Shuttle Services expects and deserves reliable "On-Time" transportation, which is exactly what they receive.  New hires are teamed up with veteran drivers for a specific period of time to ensure they know the rules and routes. All drivers call their clients prior to their scheduled pick up time and, in the event of an airport pickup, they leave the client a reconfirmation voice mail message that is received as soon as they disembark from the airplane.

 

All of Transit Van Shuttle Services’ vehicles are branded with the TVS logo, so there’s no mystery vehicles here! Aside from being professional in appearance, clients are able to spot their transportation quickly and easily.  They are greeted by a smiling uniformed driver who opens the door for them, and loads their luggage.  For added comfort  the vans’ seats are easily adjustable, can be reclined, and are able to be completely removed for extra luggage needs.  

 

Transportation is a global issue regardless of the economic issues. The baby boomer population is now the largest segment of our poplulation, as they leave the workforce daily they will need our services.
